Can I wear a wet suit for the swim?

You may wear a wet suit (5mm or less in thickness) only if the water is 78° degrees Fahrenheit or less. If the water temperature is greater than 78° but less than 84°degrees Fahrenheit, you may wear a wet suit, but you are no longer in age group or overall competition, you are ineligible for rankings and awards. Your results will not appear in the age group or overall results sent to USA Triathlon, but should be available on site under a wetsuit results list. No wet suits are allowed in water temperature greater than 84° degrees Fahrenheit.
