Can I wear a garment that covers my entire body for the swim?

The USAT Competitive Rules have no restrictions on clothing and an athlete can wear a suit providing full body coverage for the entire race, and in non-wetsuit legal swims as long as the garment is constructed of textile materials and contains no buoyant material. If your body marking will be covered then the swim number must be applied to the swim cap and your swim cap must be worn until you return to your transition area.
